Fantasy Hair Salon is an independent unisex salon at 132 Stoke Newington Road, a couple of minutes from Rectory Road station. Step through the door and it's all exposed brick, warm wood, brass lamps and vintage leather chairs.

The team, led by Ekrem, are known for a calm, unhurried chair and for colour that people travel for, from soft highlights to full dark-to-blonde transformations. You'll get a proper consultation before anything begins.

Do you cut both men's and women's hair?
Yes. Fantasy is a unisex salon, cutting, colouring and styling for women and men, with vintage barber chairs for the men's side and kids' cuts too.
Can you take dark hair to blonde?
It's one of the things we're known for. Going from naturally dark hair to ash blonde is usually a longer, planned process to keep your hair healthy, so we'll talk it through at a consultation first. Bring a photo of the shade you're after.
Do you do balayage, highlights and toning?
Yes, colour is our speciality: balayage, highlights, full colour, root tints, toners and colour correction. Highlights and balayage start from around £100, with the exact price confirmed at your consultation.
Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
Both. Give us a call on 020 7249 9920 to book a slot, especially for colour, which needs time set aside. Walk in when there's a chair free and we'll do our best to fit you in.
Do you do keratin smoothing treatments?
Yes. Keratin smoothing starts from around £100 for shorter hair and £150 for longer hair. A quick patch test beforehand keeps everything safe.
